IAU – 5th Global Survey on Internationalization of Higher Education

IAU – 5th Global Survey on Internationalization of Higher Education

The International Association of Universities (IAU), a global Higher Education membership-based organisation set up in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO and currently having a membership of more than 650 universities and organisations, is currently conducting its 5th Global Survey on Internationalization of Higher Education.

This is the longest running internationalization survey of its type, with the first survey being undertaken in 2003. More information and executive summaries of all surveys are available on this page.

Each IAU Global Survey provides a unique data analysis of global and regional trends and developments in the field of international higher education and related policymaking. The IAU Global Surveys have become an invaluable resource for those interested in internationalization of higher education.

IAU 5th Global Survey benefits from the support of Agence Universitaire pour la Francophonie (AUF), Académie de Recherche et d’Enseignement Supérieur (ARES), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), NAFSA: Association of International Educators and UNESCO.

Please take the survey in:

Please note that IAU may send the survey to several academic senior leaders in an institution. However, it needs only one answer per institution. Therefore, the Association invites you to consult with your colleagues to gather the necessary information before filling in the online questionnaire.

The survey will remain open until the 30th of June 2018.

Respondents will be able to attend free of charge a webinar on the results of the survey.
