Join the IAU Cluster on HE & Research for Sustainable Development

The International Association of Universities (IAU) is leading a Cluster on Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development (HESD) to work together towards achieving Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

IAU aims to foster synergies between the different networks working on this goal, and to find innovative ways of advancing the Agenda 2030. At present, IAU envisages various forms of engagement, including but not limited to: organizing workshops, participating in the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and developing a global survey on HESD.

The thematic Cluster on Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development will consist of 17 teams, each led by a relevant IAU Member Institution, working on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in order to advance the Agenda 2030. IAU itself will lead SDG17. For more information, please have a look at the Cluster’s page on the Global Portal on HESD.

As IFCU member university, you can join the Cluster as a reference university for Goal 17. In such a case, you will be representing the Federation within the IAU Cluster. IAU has planned a first conference call on September 24. So, if you are interested in this opportunity, please let us know as soon as possible stating briefly why your university may represent with success Goal 17!
